Astral is a versatile not-for-profit Community Theatre Group which performs at the Rosebud Memorial Hall and has been entertaining the local area since 1983. They perform Musicals and dramas and, as well as their main theatre group, have a well established Youth Theatre which trains the youth, not only in the on-stage experience, but every aspect of theatrecraft.

How to Book Your Tickets...
As part of Rosebud Astral Theatre Society's committment to the health, safety and wellbeing of everyone attending our shows, the committee has decided that, in order to relieve the "Box Office Crush" at every show, we are now only taking Prepaid Boookings. Bookings can be made by printing out and completing the Booking Request (Below), sending a stamped, self addressed envelope with your cheque or money-order and the filled in Booking Request to Astral Booking Office, PO Box 525, Rosebud 3939. Tickets will be mailed back to you within 6 working days.
Of course, tickets will always be available at the door for every performance, however, these will be sold on a first-come first-serve basis and the earlier you arrive, the better your choice of seating.
The ticket box will commence selling tickets 30minutes before the show and you will be able to be seated immediately. As another safety initiative, the ticket sales will be conducted immediately inside the main hall. This will allow for two entrances from the foyer; one for prepaid bookings and one for ticket sales.

Latest News:
March 2009: New Website developed for Astral and ATYA. We thank Damian for his hard work in past years and wish him well in his new Teaching Position up in Melbourne. With his leaving, the website will now be maintained by Evan Knoble. As always, please submit anything you wish included on the website. This site needs to represent the entire theatre group and needs your input.
Feb 2009: Risk Management Workshop was conducted over the first weekend and from this a comprehensive Risk Management Plan is being prepared.

Due to Kylie Knoble's successfull Grant submission, Astral now has the funding from the Commonwealth Government's Volunteers' Equipment Grant to purchase a Laptop Computer and a new Follow Spot.
